Do you lug out a lead weighted shooting sled each time you target shoot? How about shooting sticks that are 4-5 feet high? I used to, but now I can pop my YPod into my shooting bag, along with my ammo, safety glasses, and ear muffs!

The YPod is an innovative, new shooting rest that allows for stability in a very small compact form. The YPod is made using machine grade plastic injection molding. You can easily and noiselessly adjust the height of the shooting rest from seven to eleven inches, making it perfect for any size shooting or caliber of firearm. The adjustment is achieved by just twisting the Y, while holding the base stationary. You can also change the direction of the shot the same way.

There is no assembly required; you can use the YPod right out of the box. The unit is small enough to fit in your hunting backpack for transport into the woods.  It can also be used on a shooting rail and has a rubberized strap that holds your rifle/crossbow in the V of the rest.

I have been using mine for both sighting in and practicing out of the tree stand. The YPod enables me to have the stability to make the shots I need. Using the YPod while practicing is as simple as setting the unit on your shooting bench, adjusting the height, and shooting! As with any shooting rest, I keep my left hand on the stand to maintain stability while shooting.

The YPod will be getting lots of use in the upcoming months! My tree stand is located in an area that both myself and granddaughter will be hunting throughout archery and rifle seasons. We have well established trails that will enable both short and long shots; stability is not going to be a problem!
